There will be no class Monday due to Ms. Allen's trip to Philadelphia.
On Tuesday, bring in a carefully written paragraph, typed and doubled spaced, and a minimum of five sentences, which answers this question:
WHAT IS HISTORY, and HOW DO HISTORIANS WRITE IT?
Provide at least three examples to back up your personal definition, which should not be word for word from a dictionary.
You can use examples from the history you studied at St. Luke's (Romans, Egyptians, etc.), from the history of your own life, or from topics you are interested in.
This is for the beginning of our next topic, and also so I can get a good sample of your writing. Show me what your best work is, so write carefully.
