Go to this site. Watch this cool video about the BAREFOOT COLLEGE. There’s more than one (you’ll see women in Mauritania, in Africa, and in India). Click on a large format to make watching it more enjoyable.

Then, write a typed and carefully written paragraph about the “college” and how it helps to fulfill the Millennium Development Goals. Be specific. What is the college? Where? Give examples of what it does, and provide specific anecdotes to make your paragraph more interesting.

You should write a rough draft, check it for content, spelling, grammar, etc., and then turn the final copy in on Tuesday, October 14.
