1. Do the map and questions in the packet, pp. 23-24. Use the atlas checked out to you.
2. Watch the news and talk to your parents about Hamas winning the fair and free Palestinian elections on Wednesday. Ponder the Machiavellian question: Should the U.S. have diplomatic relations with Hamas, a known terrorist party? Make notes for a discussion.
