Homework for Tue., Sept. 27 (due Wed.)

1. Read pp. 4-5 in the new Islam textbook.
2. Survey your new textbook, and use it to generate ideas for a list of ten possible sources one could use to study Islam. Try to be very specific and varied in your source choices. For example, don't just write "textbook" -- write the name and author of a specific book. Don't just write "mosque" -- write the name and place of the mosque, too.
3. Make a chart using that list of ten sources with a column for each of the questions we ask about sources (primary/secondary? relevant? reliable? significant?). Check them off on your chart and be prepared to discuss them in class tomorrow.

AMNESTY MEETING FRIDAY AT LUNCH! CASE BELOW... FIRST COMMUNITY SERVICE REPORTS WILL BE DUE NEXT MONDAY!
